Riley took the radio in her hand and began to fiddle with it. She opened up the back and took out the battery. Looking at the wires beneath the battery pack she scanned over each and everyone, trying to find if it was broken. Finally she came over a green one that seemed to have been damaged. Hicks placed the radio in her lap as she took both ends of the wire and twisted them together, trying to get a spark to tell her that it was working.
When the agent placed the battery pack in and snapped the back panel into the radio, she turned the nob trying to find the channel that Rebecca’s team was on.
"What radio frequency does your team use?" Riley asked, ignoring the negativity coming from the medic.
Rebecca was surprised she could actually fix the thing, let alone possibly find a signal. “909 MHz.” She kept her eyes on the surroundings as Riley began to attempt to find signal. "T-thanks by the way."
"No problem." Hicks replied, turning the nob to find the channel, "If we want to get out of this thing, we have to work together."
Finally a signal came through the speaker as she handed the radio to Rebecca, “Here. Call in for an evac.”
Riley sat there, watching as Chambers communicated with her team. She ejected her mag, counted how much ammunition she had left, and slapped it back into the chamber.
